A demanding series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Bikram Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. To increase flexibility and toxin release as well as decrease injuries, it is done in a heated room.
Power Hour is Bikram's Beginning Series class with all postures condensed into a one hour period. The class moves quickly.
IHP is high-intensity interval training based around Pilates principles. It's high intensity but low impact, so it's great on your joints. In this class, you use your core in EVERY SINGLE EXERCISE. That means contracting your stomach, tightening your glutes, and squeezing your pelvic floor. The approach to this class is completely different from yoga. Your goal is to work to failure so that your muscles can build back stronger. In this class, failure means success!
